From 20th – 24th March 2023, 40 of our field staff, including graduates, emerging agronomists and skilled operators travelled to Toowoomba for the long-awaited Emerging Agronomy Camp. The agenda was jam packed, with engaging presentations given by Graduates, Senior Managers and Clients alike.
Topics addressed during the week included data collection, quality, trial compliance, report writing, site selection and a strong focus on client relationships. Attendees also had the opportunity to get out in the sunshine and conduct some field visits in Gatton.
The Farmer Parma event was a highlight of the week, with an interactive panel session hosted by some of our leaders at Kalyx.
All in all, the event was a huge success and enabled UQ students to understand the Kalyx footprint and embrace the networking opportunities with staff. Thank you to all involved who contributed to the success of the 2023 Emerging Agronomy Camp!
